Co-Parenting Coaching

As a Collaborative Family Law attorney as well as a mother and stepmother of five children with two separate parenting agreements, I have professional and personal experience with co-parenting. I am passionate about helping families navigate the world of co-parenting and offer several services to support these families during and after divorce.

In addition to my work as a certified mediator and Collaborative-trained family law attorney, I also received a co-parenting certification from the Mosten Guthrie Academy for Mediation and Collaborative Training. This forward-thinking training equipped me with the ability to use an innovative child-centered approach in the co-parenting services offered at ROAD to RESOLUTION.

Through my unique co-parenting coaching methods, I work with my clients to prioritize their family while centering decisions around the best interests of their children. My services can help families create or update a parenting plan, resolve conflict or disagreements, address communication challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and assess the ever-changing landscape of raising children in two households.

To learn more about co-parenting coaching and guidance services, contact ROAD to RESOLUTION to schedule a confidential consultation. You can also read my co-parenting blog for information and tips concerning common topics and issues affecting co-parents.

Pre-Divorce Education

Pre-Divorce Education is a helpful place to start when you are contemplating divorce, or do not know the next steps to take when you’ve made the decision to move forward with divorce.

Drafting Legal Documents

As a licensed attorney in North Carolina and South Carolina, I can handle the drafting of various documents. This includes drafting your Separation Agreement, filing your divorce, creating co-parenting plans, and handling many of the other legal services connected with the individual nature of your divorce or family law matter.

Mediation

Mediation is one of the best ways to avoid some of the unnecessary stress, and emotional and financial expenditure on what can already be a very trying process. If you’ve read My Story, you know that my previous spouse and I were excellent candidates for mediation because of our willingness to work together.

Collaborative Divorce

If you and your spouse are not comfortable representing yourself or need representation, and want to approach the process in a collaborative manner, hiring a collaborative divorce attorney is your answer.

Traditional Divorce Attorney

If you are in a position where you or your spouse are not in a place to handle your divorce in a collaborative manner, I am able to act as a traditional divorce attorney with licensure in NC and SC. The traditional divorce process tends to be more adversarial. However, while limited, there are occasions when this approach is necessary.

High Net Worth Divorce

Divorces involving significant assets and income are more complex and require sophisticated handling. Careful preparation and accounting are critical elements to identify individual assets and minimize potential tax liabilities.
